About Me
- Name: essex in a shed
- Location: Between the saltings and the vineyards, in the Tuscany hills of Essex, United Kingdom
Arrived in the Royal London Hospital Mile End in the late forties, a time of steam trains, trams, and even the horse and cart! First resided above a builders yard in the Cambridge Heath Road, Bethnal Green and was prammed around Victoria Park by a loving mother. Following the blocking of a lavatory with a bread pudding and the subsequent flooding of the builders office below, was moved out to the suburbs of Hampstead Garden Suburb Golders Green spending much time in the allotments and on Hampstead Heath and Big Wood. Schooling came as a great shock but luckily survived and came through pretty much unaffected by education and illiterate, but sensitive to the changing seasons and the where abouts of the sun, escaping to work earning the pennies in the wood trade. And as a young bloke was found by a schoolgirl and turned in to a life long project to do with growing up and being a sensible man. The woman depending on your view has failed, the two children fled at the first chance of not being put into care and I eventually showed some signs of growing up at the age of 46 but by that time I had been unemployable for many years and am in debt to the sum of thousands.
